State governments declare holidays from time to time depending on the weather trend. They usually declare long holidays twice a year and the first one falls in June to mark the summer. The next holiday would be in winter, which usually begins sometime around the end of December. In this scenario, winter holidays for students are awaited across the country. The Delhi government has made a statement regarding the winter holidays for the forthcoming year: 2024-25. As per reports, holidays will commence in all government as well as private schools from January 1, 2025, and will extend up to January 15, 2025.
However, the date for these holidays declared by the government is subject to change as per weather. If the weather becomes worse then the government can make this holiday a little early.
